Casual Chess Night, 6/19/2026

Starting 6/19/2026, we will have two Lichess Arenas every Friday:

• Beginner Arena: 6:00pm–7:00pm Pacific
• Regular Arena: 7:30pm–9:00pm Pacific

The Beginner Arena is recommended for newer and younger players, while the regular arena is open to everyone and generally more competitive.

This is a place to just come play some games, try out ideas you’ve been learning, and get real practice. No pressure at all. None of the games are rated (not USCF, not even online), so you don’t need to worry about ratings. Just play and enjoy.

From time to time, some strong local players and Masters will join, which makes it even more fun.

We started this about two years ago, and it’s grown into a really nice group of regular players. We’d love to keep it going and have more people join.

One simple thing: please be respectful and kind to each other. We want everyone to feel comfortable here. If someone is disruptive, we may not be able to have them at future Chess A2Z events.

Come by if you’re free. Just show up and play.
