Casual Chess Night, 4/3/2026

We gather every Friday 7:30pm–9:00pm Pacific Time to play, learn, and just enjoy chess together. It’s free and open to everyone, no matter your level. Feel free to join late or leave early: no need to commit to the full time.

This is just a place to come play some games, try out ideas you’ve been learning, and get real practice. No pressure at all. None of the games are rated (not USCF, not even online), so you don’t need to worry about ratings. Just play and enjoy.

From time to time, some strong local players and Masters will join, which makes it even more fun.

We started this about two years ago, and it’s grown into a really nice group of regular players. We’d love to keep it going and have more people join.

One simple thing: please be respectful and kind to each other. We want everyone to feel comfortable here. If someone is disruptive, we may not be able to have them at future Chess A2Z events.
